Tuition and fees alone cover only about 70 percent of the cost of educating a child at the Hebrew Academy. The generosity of parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, and friends, as well as annual support from the United Jewish Communities of MetroWest (Federation), pays the balance of each tuition bill. This support also enables the Hebrew Academy to continue to welcome families that would otherwise not be able to afford a day school education. Our school seeks to develop knowledgeable, committed young Jewish adults who will become future leaders of our community. A gift to the Hebrew Academy is a gift to Klal Yisrael, the Jewish people. The most important way to support the HAMC is through a gift to our Shomrei Torah (Guardian of the Torah) Annual Campaign. In addition, other fundraisers such as the Ad Journal, Goods and Services Auction, and Raffle also support our operating costs. Through a partnership with the Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) of MetroWest, we have begun to build an endowment to benefit future generations of Hebrew Academy youngsters. A variety of planned giving options are available through the JCF to benefit the Hebrew Academy. Please click on any of the areas listed (above) to find out more about giving to HAMC. Our Development Office works closely with dedicated teams of volunteers on a variety of projects. Volunteer efforts are headed up by the Board of Trustee's Fundraising Chair. Donations are vital, but giving of your time and energy is equally valuable. FOR MORE INFORMATION ON GIVING TO HAMC, CAMPAIGN BROCHURES, OR TICKETS TO THE HAMC AUCTION OR OTHER EVENTS, OR VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, PLEASE EMAIL THE DEVELOPMENT OFFICE OR CALL 973-584-5530, ext.3015.
