Full Time Development and Marketing Associate
The Development and Marketing Associate is a detail-oriented person who will report to the Director of Development. The position will support the Development Office in the areas of fundraising, marketing and programming for the school.
Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)
- General donor correspondence – acknowledgement letters etc.
- Social networking: school blog/website updates/Facebook
- Assist with annual school magazine/Report on state of school
- Special events support for Annual Campaign, Grandparents Days etc.
- Planning, coordinating, and logistics of events
- Posters, Flyers and Invitations for all events - Support for other school events and programs during the school year
- Execute a marketing and PR campaign developed by the Director of Development
- Writing Press Releases
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Experience working with donors and volunteers
- Polished writing skills and excellent communication skills
- Exceptionally well organized and detail-oriented
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Proficiency in social media including Facebook, blogging and Twitter
- Some marketing/communication experience
- Ability to adapt to an ever changing work environment and works well independently or as part of a team.
- Comfort level with Jewish Day School environment a plus but not required
Experience: 2 years minimum office experience
Preferred Degree: Bachelors
Salary and other benefits are commensurate with experience.

Substitutes Needed
We need dedicated teachers and teaching assistants to be on-call, day-to-day substitutes, full and/or part day, to fill in when our classroom staff is absent.
- Substitute teachers are needed in ECC through 8th grade, for both Judaic and general subjects.
- A love of children is required
- Previous experience is desirable but not required.
- A minimum of 2 years of college is required, preferably in a related field.
- A teaching certificate/experience is desirable but not required.
- Though you may be called the morning you are needed, we will call you in advance whenever possible.
- You will be asked to submit to a criminal background check and provide proof of legal status to work.
